This Refund Policy explains when Squazyo™ issues refunds and how to request one. It applies to all bookings, session packages, Academy Pro external payments, video analysis, summer camps, and subscriptions.
Cancel a confirmed session up to 24 hours before start time for a 100% refund to the original Stripe payment method. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable unless the coach agrees. If the coach cancels, declines, or is a no-show, the player receives a 100% automatic refund.
Cancel at least 2 hours before the player's first match for a full refund. The standard 24-hour rule does not apply to Tournament Mode. If the coach cannot connect (call fails on coach's side) the player receives a full refund.
For multi-session packages: refund = (package price) × (sessions remaining) ÷ (total sessions). Available up to 30 days from purchase. Completed or expired packages are not refundable. Rolled-over sessions do not count against the remaining balance.
Fully refundable while status is "pending" (coach has not started). Once "in progress" or "completed" the fee is non-refundable. If the coach does not respond within 14 days the player can request an automatic full refund.
Refunds follow the academy's schedule: typically 100% up to 30 days before start, 50% between 30 and 7 days, 0% inside 7 days. The academy's specific schedule takes precedence. If Squazyo processed the payment, refund is via Stripe; external payments are refunded by the academy.
Payments made directly to an academy coach are not processed by Squazyo and are refunded outside of Squazyo by the academy or coach. Squazyo records the payment for bookkeeping only and charges no commission on external payments.
Subscriptions purchased through the App Store or Google Play are managed and refunded by Apple or Google under their respective refund policies (reportaproblem.apple.com or play.google.com/refund). Free trials can be cancelled any time without charge through your app store's subscription settings.
For bookings: open the booking in the app and tap "Cancel Booking". Eligible cancellations produce an automatic Stripe refund within 3–10 business days. For disputes: use the in-app dispute flow within 48 hours. For other requests: email legal@squazyo.app with your booking ID and reason. We respond within three business days.
If you open a chargeback with your card issuer before contacting Squazyo we may suspend your account during review. Please use the in-app dispute flow first — it's faster and doesn't jeopardise your account.
Squazyo reserves the right to issue refunds outside this policy on a case-by-case basis. One goodwill refund does not obligate further exceptions.
