These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Squazyo™, a squash coaching platform operated by Squazyo, Inc. ("Squazyo", "we", "our", "us"). By creating an account or using the Squazyo app you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an individual account. Users aged 13–17 with a family link have limited plan management. Users under 13 must be managed by a parent account with booking approval required. Coaches and academy owners must be at least 18.
You are responsible for keeping credentials confidential, all activity under your account, and providing accurate information. One account per person. You may delete your account at any time from settings.
Squazyo connects players with independent coaches, hybrid coaches, and academies for virtual coaching, in-person sessions, Tournament Mode coaching, group clinics, and video analysis. Squazyo is not itself a coach and does not employ coaches. We do not guarantee qualifications, conduct, or outcomes. Reviews are user-generated and do not constitute endorsements.
All payments are processed by Stripe. Platform fees are charged to coaches according to tier: Starter 15%, Elite Coach 12%, Pro Coach 10%, Academy Pro 5% (Stripe only). Fees include Stripe processing. Coach payouts are delivered via Stripe Connect. For academy players paying externally (Zelle, cash, bank transfer) the coach records the payment; Squazyo charges no commission on external payments.
Subscriptions purchased through iOS or Android are billed through Apple or Google via RevenueCat. Free trials last 30 days; paid billing begins automatically unless cancelled.
Cancel a confirmed session up to 24 hours before start for a full refund. Inside 24 hours: non-refundable unless coach agrees. If coach cancels: full automatic refund. Tournament Mode: 2-hour cancellation rule. See our Refund Policy for full details.
Tournament Mode coaching occurs over FaceTime (iOS) or WhatsApp Video. A parent typically manages the phone courtside. The video call happens on Apple's or Meta's infrastructure and is outside Squazyo's control. You are responsible for obtaining tournament operator permission. Same-day bookings are permitted.
Each subscription includes a storage quota. You retain ownership of uploaded videos and grant Squazyo a non-exclusive licence to host and display them. Videos must be your own or shared with permission. Squazyo may remove violating content and may migrate older videos to cold storage.
Coaches warrant they hold required licences, carry appropriate insurance, and will coach as described in their profile. Academy owners are responsible for assistant coaches' conduct. Coaches must respond to bookings within 24 hours. Off-platform solicitation of Squazyo players is prohibited.
You agree not to: (a) harass or harm others; (b) upload illegal or infringing content; (c) circumvent platform fees; (d) scrape or reverse-engineer the service; (e) create fake accounts or reviews; (f) use Squazyo for unrelated purposes.
Use the in-app dispute flow within 48 hours of session end. Squazyo may hold disputed payouts while reviewing. Our decision is final regarding the platform. This does not limit your legal rights.
SQUAZYO IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. PHYSICAL ACTIVITY CARRIES RISK OF INJURY; YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR DETERMINING FITNESS TO PARTICIPATE.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SQUAZYO'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT OR (B) USD 100. SQUAZYO WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES.
You agree to indemnify Squazyo from claims arising from your use of the service, your content, or breach of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your account for material violation, fraud, or legal requirement. You may terminate at any time. Sections that should survive termination will continue to apply.
These Terms are governed by Delaware law, USA. Exclusive venue: state or federal courts in New Castle County, Delaware. You waive jury trial and class action rights to the fullest extent permitted.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in-app. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
